To get tickets, you can use option A:

Ticket Machines
-Or, you can use option B:

Ticket counter
Before I go on, a little tip about the ticket machines. These ticket machines, depending on which station is in question, can only accept a certain number of paper notes per transaction. For example- the KLCC station can only accept 1 paper note per transaction, while the Universiti station can accept up to 15 notes per transaction. Any remainder for the ticket must be paid in coins. This, obviously, makes it a little bit of an annoyance to those who have been oblivious to this fact- especially when one is in KLCC (the queue to the ticket counter gets long). So if you're going to go to places with lots of people (like KLCC), bring along some coins to pay for your ticket.
Moving along...
After getting your ticket, you pass through these.. gates? What do you call them?

From there, you can choose three ways to get to the waiting platform- by lift, stairs, or escalator.

Most stations have this sign propped up, but most stations have people standing left and right as well.

The waiting platform- As you can see, no barriers for this station. Most of them don't have barriers, except for the underground ones- like the KLCC station.

I'm not sure about rush hours, but whenever I take the LRT, it usually isn't very crowded. If you are making your way past KL Sentral though, expect lots of people to flow in at that stop.

Some stations, (like Taman Bahagia and Taman Jaya) have stores close to the ticket counter. It's quite convenient for when you've just gotten back after a long day, and feel like drinking some nice Pokka Green Tea or Chrysanthemum Tea.

Besides that, some stations also have stalls just outside the station entrance. Get stuff like kuih, curry puff, and etc here.

What're train stations like in your region? I suppose pretty much the same?
