The price for petrol jumped up by 80 sens, going from RM1.92 per liter to RM2.70 per liter. The day before it took effect, tons of cars were lined up, waiting to get into petrol stations to fill their tank. Malaysians have been protesting against this price hike, and I hear lots of people around me complaining about it as well.

I don't drive, but it still affects me indirectly. Because of this petrol price hike, the price of other things goes up as well- food, books, everything!
