So, how many of you watched the opening of the Beijing Olympics? Since it only occurs every four years, I figured I should watch it.
I must say, it was pretty spectacular. The opening was very grand, with tons of fireworks, professional performances, and amazing lightings. They also had Sarah Brightman to sing the theme song with Liu Huan. I could barely understand what Sarah was singing though ^^; My ears are not tuned for her. You can listen to (a low quality version of) the theme song here- "You And Me". It's a pretty nice song.
For those of you who missed the opening ceremony, you can watch parts of it here. I think Astro is also having some re-runs, so you might still be able to catch it then.
Too bad there aren't any high-quality recordings of the opening ceremony on YouTube. I thought everyone would be uploading it, so I didn't record. ^^;
