This is restaurant Rakuzen at Sri Hartamas shopping centre.
They serve Japanese food (obviously). Like most (high-end) Japanese restaurants, there's a good variety of food to choose from. Wasn't really paying attention to the sushi bit of the menu, but I do remember they had makizushi and temakizushi.
There were lots of other items on the menu, but I don't quite remember them.. I know they had some teppanyaki sets, some bento sets (bento sets in this case are for more than one person), and sukiyaki (which can be found in most Japanese restaurants here).
Of course, they also have the classic 天麩羅 (Tempura) (Yum).
I'm quite a bit of a "curry junkie", so it's カレーじゅ (Curry-jyu) for me.
Doesn't look very appetizing here, but it was delicious. It's rice, curry, chicken and potato.
While I was looking at the menu, I noticed 肉じゃが (nikujaga) on the menu. I didn't know what it was at the time, and thought I'd just order it, since it didn't seem like much..
But when I was presented with this, I knew I was in trouble ^^;
I didn't quite like the taste of this - too sweet for my tastes. What's more, I was rather full from my curry-jyu, so eating this was a little.. tough ^^;
But when the dessert came, I suddenly had space in my stomach.
I actually wanted some Yukimi Daifuku, but they were out :\ Instead, I had to settle for this.. Tiramisu daifuku ^^;
Wasn't too bad, but I'd still rather have a yukimi daifuku.
The Japanese food here is pretty good, but as usual, is a little pricey. Each set meal (such as my Curry-jyu and nikujaga) costs about RM12.
Rakuzen is on the ground floor, but can't remember where exactly ^^;
Not very helpful, but you can see a little more info on Rakuzen here.
