Like it says in the name, it's a Teo Chew restaurant. Instead of the usual chili padi on the table, it's sambal with anchovies (Ikan bilis), garlic, and chili in.. something I forget.
This is oyster noodles.. I personally don't quite like noodles, so I shall not comment on this.
Tofu with minced meat. This was delicious.
This is bitter gourd.
Some vegetables. This be choy sum (Chinese cabbage).
Not too sure what this was.. but it tasted fine anyway ^^;
Fried chicken. My favorite. This was also very yummy.
This drink is blended dragon fruit and pineapple. Didn't get a taste, so I don't know what it tastes like.
And this here, is a must try dessert. It's simply called, "Yam dessert"
That white thing you see is yam, the large blocks you see is pumpkin, and the tiny stuff is ginko. To eat it, you just put all the pineapple into that yam paste, then add in the pumpkin and break it up. Then pour some into your bowl and enjoy. Alternatively, you could add pineapple in, scoop some into your bowl, then add in your own pumpkin. We found the latter method easier.
Apparently, the chairman of Public Bank (or Hong Leong bank) has also been to this restaurant.

Another place that sells the yam dessert.
Came to this restaurant after hearing from friends that the food here is "fantastic" and "cannot get this taste anywhere else wan" (wan=slang. Just ignore it). But after eating here myself, I must say the food was just above average. The yam dessert was nice though.
It's a rather tiny restaurant, with a very friendly owner. The restaurant is run by his family, and himself. If you wanna give this place a try, you should call them to make a reservation first before coming, as they don't quite like walk-in customers.
A little note here... all of the sauces that come with the dishes are apparently made of soup, and if you don't finish it, the restaurant owner will come after you and ask you to finish up the sauce ^^;
