SOS sexy figure

Was just surfing the internet today, when I came across this figure..

It's an "SOS sexy figure," and goes at a wholesale price of $65.

Certainly, her body is rather sexy, but her face is so... "fugly" Well, her mouth in particular, because her eyes look salvageable good enough.

This figure seems to be manufactured by, "You-Q". Regardless of whether this "sexy figure" looks good or not, after looking at their dodgy legit website, I would love to get one.

Apparently, this You-Q is, "...one of the biggest anime wholesalers in China, designing and producing various kinds of anime products, with high qualitity ,competitive prices of our goods and superb service,we have established long term business relations with a lot of Clients in Europe,North America and Australia."

High qualitity sounds great, and totally trustworthy.

This figure can be found here.

You know any other ugly sexy figures? The other ugly sexy figure I remember is Sader. ^^;

Piracy 2

Some of you *might* remember the Starship Galactica playground I posted about? (post here)

Here's something I didn't catch sight of that time.

So original of them, don't you think?

Pirated Box Sets

Was in Popular (book store) today, and usually the first thing I head for is the CDs, VCDs and DVDs section, since I have litte interest for books.

When visiting that section, I always see lots of box sets- VCD box sets.

These box sets, although labeled with a "tulen" sticker (a sticker that marks original products), are usually pirated goods.

Whenever you see these VCD box sets (which usually have Chinese and English subs available), do not buy! The DVD box sets, on the other hand, are usually authentic, but will probably cost many times more than the VCD box sets (if you're looking to buy a whole series).

It is fairly easy to detect these fakes- box has bad print, box design does not look official/authentic, and some have a description in English and Chinese on the back.

These fakes can be found in many places, such as Speedy, Popular, and just about any store selling CDs (even music stores). The quality of the video is bad, subs are horrible and names in the subs change all the time.

But when you see VCDs for a few episodes, (egs. Medabots Episode 1-2), and they're priced quite high (RM10 or so), those are usually authentic.

で! 外人オタク! (So, foreign otaku!) Do not be fooled by these fakes! Use that money for something better!

Lots of pirated box sets in your region?

Pirated Game Consoles 2

Remember those pirated game consoles I talked about the last time? Spotted some more pirated handheld consoles.

This be Nimetop (I think).

And this.. I forget. Didn't take note of the name.

Will be on the lookout for more pirated game consoles.

Piracy rampant in your region?

Pirated Game Consoles

As you might know by now, Malaysia has many, many pirated goods. Game consoles are no exception-

An "MD Max Lite," which is probably ripped off from the DS Lite.

???-Station. Not sure what the first part of the name was.

Only managed to get a picture of these two pirated game consoles up close, but will be trying to bring more.

Do you own a pirated game console? If so, how's that working for you?
